WalletHub, a personal finance website, has ranked the state among the ten best states for retirees based on factors including affordability, quality of life and health care. Colorado ranks among the country's top ten biggest states in terms of size, covering an area of 104,100 square miles (67 million acres). Of this area, 103,642 square miles (100 percent) is land, while the remaining 452 square miles is covered by water.
