LandsofAmerica.com Buyer's Journey: More Progress on the Barn, and a new Pavilion
This week’s weather was wetter and colder than the last update from the barn-raising at our LandsofAmerica.com buyer’s property, limiting the work that could be done, but the buyer sent in some small updates for our readers.
A new pavilion, the largest of the three to be built on the property (the previous two were discussed here), is nearing completion, as seen below. This will be used as a great place to grill and eat, and will even have power running to it!
The brown-dyed concrete, used in conjunction with a concrete “stamp,” is being used for the porch. This unique style helps differentiate from the solid concrete floor used for the equipment storage part of the barn and will give the porch a more rustic, comfortable feel without having to be maintained like real wood.
Work is continuing on the living quarters located upstairs in the barn, with scaffolding being put into place to aid in the placement of insulation to keep the upstairs area a comfortable refuge from whatever the weather brings.
We thank our LandsofAmerica.com Buyer for the update on the improvements being done around the property. Tune in next week to see more improvements!
